DAY 2: HANOI – HA LONG OVERNIGHT ON CRUISE (L/D)

12:15 Guests are transferred by speedboat/tender from Indochina Sails’s Tuan Chau Pier to Indochine Cruise – enjoy a welcome drink, and listen cruise briefing and safety instructions.

13:15-14:00 Passengers enjoy the International Buffet Lunch. Massage service is available after lunch and throughout the cruise. Please book in advance with your Cruise Manager.

14:45-16:30 The crew takes passengers to visit the Dark and Bright (also known as Bat Cave) the grotto is not only known for the stunning limestone structure at every turn but also for the interesting natural habitat. The best way to explore this cave is kayaking or bamboo sampan drive by local people through the tunnel so you will spend most your time relaxing and enjoying the quiet and natural place (This is a UNESCO Heritage site and also the nature reserve area of Cat Ba National Park)

17:30 Depart and sail to anchor overnight.

18:30-19:00 Attend the Cooking demonstration led by our Head Chef. During the lesson, the chef showed the guests how we decorate and make traditional Vietnamese foods.

19:30 Set Menu Dinner is served.

20:45 Evening activities. Board games like cards or Parcheesi are available, as well as massage service (massage service is available throughout the cruise). Also, everyone can try their luck at Squid fishing on the boat with help from the crew.

22:00 End of Program for Day 1.

DAY 3: HA LONG – HANOI (B/L)

06:30 Coffee, tea and breakfast pastries served in the dining room.

06:45 Enjoy a Tai Chi lesson on the sundeck.

07:15-08:45 Cruise crew takes guests to visit Trung Trang Cave on Cat Ba Island.

09:00 Guests will have 30 minutes to freshen up and finish packing. Please collect all of your belongings from the cabins and leave heavy luggage outside the cabins.

09:30 Enjoy the dining room’s breakfast buffet, consisting of Vietnamese and international dishes. Bills are settled after breakfast. We approach the harbor while we cruise, giving you the opportunity to soak up the last of the magical atmosphere of Lan Ha from the sundeck.

11:15 Arrive at Indochina Sails’s Pier at Tuan Chau Port.

12.00 The driver will pick you up àn take you to your hotel in Ha Noi

DAY 4: HANOI – SAPA – CAT CAT VILLAGE OR HAM RONG MOUNTAIN (L/D)

06.30: Our sleeping bus will pick you up at the address 204 Tran Quang Khai street, Hoan Kiem District and depart to Sapa following Noi Bai – Lao Cai highway. Along the way, you will have a chance to enjoy the beauty of northwestern mountains, and terraced fields sparkling in sunlight or dim in thick fog. Have two short breaks in 30 minutes for each and then continue the trip to Sapa.

13.00: Arrive in Sapa, eat lunch and check in at the hotel.

Plan 1: HamRong Botanical Garden: don’t miss the lovely botanical gardens above the main square in town with their spectacular viewpoint from the top. There are fabulous views of the town and the wider landscape as well as tended gardens to visit.  This park is essentially a long cobblestone walkway to the top of Ham Rong Mountain. It’s a strenuous climb, but the panoramic vista at the top is well worth tackling all those stairs.  Along the way, there are countless potted orchids, beautifully landscaped gardens, and a few really tacky statues of cartoon characters like Scooby Doo and Mickey Mouse.   One word of caution, the stone stairs could be treacherous on a rainy or misty day.

Plan 2: You will start hiking to Cat Cat Village which is occupied by the Black H’mong tribe. Here, you can see the hydroelectric power station which was built by the French in the twentieth century. You will experience the tribal way of life of ethnic minorities while enjoying wonderful views of the terraced rice paddy fields and the waterfall in Cat Cat village. Visitors will also understand the culture, unique customs, and traditional crafts such as weaving, touching carved silver, and forged agricultural tools…  Come back to the hotel.

19h00: Having dinner. After dinner, you are free to explore the charm of Sapa by night, enjoy roasted corn, and baked eggs beside a charcoal fire, or go shopping. Especially on Saturday night, we highly recommend a stop at the Love Market – one of the unique cultures of ethnic minorities in northwest Vietnam. Overnight at a hotel in Sapa.

DAY 5: FANSIPAN LEGEND – HANOI ( B / L / – )

Morning: Car and tour guide take you to Fansipan Cable Car Station to start the journey to conquer Fansipan with the world’s most modern 3-wire cable car system with a cabin that can accommodate up to 30 visitors. Then continue conquering to the top of Fansipan at 3.143m higher from sea level, the roof of Indochina

11.30: Check out and eat lunch.

13.00: Get on the bus and go back to Hanoi.

19.30: Arrive in Hanoi.
